Call the main office and ask which unit currently handles county jail custody, booking sheets, incident records, or booking photographs. For investigations, the published route is 256-463-2277 option 2. The anonymous tip route is 256-463-2277 option 4. Dispatch at 256-463-8911 and 911 are for dispatch or emergency needs, not routine record searches.

- For a recent booking, booking photograph, or county jail record, follow the county arrest-record steps and contact the Sheriff’s Office.
- For someone possibly booked today, review 24 Hour Arrests. No verified public Alabama same-day feed was located, so direct confirmation may be necessary.
- For a wider date range, use the Arrest Log request path. Local news is not an official custody record.
- For a court docket or disposition, use the Cleburne County court or the Alabama court portal.
- For records in the County Commission’s custody, follow the county public-records form. It directs in-person submission during regular business hours to 6751 Highway 78, Heflin, AL 36264, and warns that unsolicited electronic requests will not be acknowledged. It is not a sheriff booking form.
