If you send an email or use an available contact method, we retain the message and the information you supply as needed to respond. Contact messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination’s own privacy policy controls. Alabama’s public-records framework, including Alabama Code § 36-12-40, governs access to eligible government records, but it does not govern the privacy practices of this private site or every linked provider.

Advertising partners may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and select targeted advertising. That tracking occurs on their systems and is governed by their policies.

Parties That May Receive Data

We do not sell personal information. Data may nonetheless be processed or disclosed to:

  • search partners that receive and answer a submitted query;
  • analytics providers that measure visits and performance;
  • advertising networks that deliver or assess ads; and

Security Has Limits

We use standard, reasonable practices intended to protect information under our control. No website, network, storage system, or internet transmission is completely secure. We therefore cannot promise that data will never be accessed, lost, altered, or disclosed without authorization.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request, a person may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, request correction of inaccurate data, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Browser controls may also be used to limit cookies. These requests do not alter records held by Cleburne County, ADOC, a court, or another linked source.
